*Nine mechanics*

# Sunken City Riches features explained

**Sunken City Riches carries nine features: Payway Maker, Upgrade, Wild Multiplier, Split Symbols,
Pick Bonus, Free Spins, Super Stake, Super Wheel and Spin to Win.** Three of them are Stakelogic
network mechanics with published figures — Super Stake doubles your stake for an enhanced game state,
Super Wheel hands you to a live 54-segment wheel with a 93% RTP and a 1-in-75 hit rate, and Spin to Win
adds roughly +1% to the game's RTP. The other six are title-specific; their exact trigger numbers publish
with the paytable on 29 September 2026.

## The engine: how three features combine

Most slots list features that fire independently. Sunken City Riches is built so that three of them
compound, and understanding that compounding is the difference between reading the feature list and
understanding the game.

**Payway Maker** adds symbol positions to reels. On a ways-pay grid, positions multiply:
a 5×4 grid gives 4×4×4×4×4 = 1024 ways, but adding a single row to one reel takes it to 1280, and adding
one to every reel takes it to 5⁵ = 3125. **Split Symbols** then multiplies again — a symbol
splitting into four copies counts as four separate paths through that reel. **Wild Multiplier**
applies a multiplier to whatever those expanded ways produce.

Stack all three inside **Free Spins** and you have the only realistic route to the
x15,000 ceiling. It also explains the 5/5 volatility rating: a game that pays this much when the stack
aligns has to pay very little the rest of the time.

## Feature by feature

### Payway Maker Core

Expands the number of active payways beyond the 1024 baseline by adding symbol positions to reels
during play. On a ways-pay engine this compounds rather than adds — one extra row on one reel is worth
256 additional ways.

*Confirmed:* the feature exists and is listed first on the roadmap.
*Unpublished:* how it is triggered and how far it can expand.

### Split Symbols Core

A symbol splits into two, three or four identical copies in the same position. Stakelogic runs this
mechanic in its ClusterBreaker engine, where symbols split "into two, three or even four identical
copies", and on a ways-pay grid each copy counts as another path.

*Confirmed:* the mechanic and how it behaves in Stakelogic's engine.
*Unpublished:* which symbols split in this title.

### Wild Multiplier Core

Wilds substitute for paying symbols and carry a multiplier applied to any win they complete.
Stakelogic's recent titles use sticky multiplier wilds that step up when wilds land on consecutive
spins, with all visible multipliers tallied at the end of a sequence.

*Unpublished:* the multiplier ceiling in this game.

### Upgrade Core

A progression layer that promotes symbols to a higher tier or advances a collection ladder. The
game's own framing is the map fragments and the ancient doors they unlock — collect, upgrade, open.
Each step raises what the round can pay.

### Pick Bonus Bonus

A player-choice round: select objects, reveal prizes, multipliers or a route into a further feature.
Worth knowing — the distribution is fixed before you pick, so the choice is presentation rather than
skill. That is true of every pick round in every licensed slot.

### Free Spins Bonus

The main bonus, opened by scatters. On a 5/5 title with this stack, free spins are where the
multipliers, splits and expanded payways are designed to accumulate — and the reason the base game runs
cold between them.

*Unpublished:* scatter count needed, number of spins awarded, retrigger rules.

### Super Stake Side bet

Stakelogic's signature since 2019. **Doubles your stake** and enables a secondary game
state — extra scatters, stacked wilds, or low-pay symbols removed, depending on the title. In The
Expendables Megaways it adds 175 wilds to the reels and strips the low-pays.

**It buys frequency, not edge.** A Mega Super Stake variant at x2.5 the base stake
exists on some titles.

### Super Wheel Live layer

An industry first: triggered on a random spin, it moves you to a **live studio** with a
human host and a **54-segment money wheel**. Published network figures — **93%
RTP**, hit rate about **1 in 75**. Three further live rounds sit behind it:
Vegas Drops, Vegas Diamonds and Vegas Hold 'n' Spin, each with a guaranteed minimum return.

### Spin to Win Side bet

The "STW" marked beside each RTP build on the roadmap. Switching it on adds approximately
**+1% RTP**, taking the 96.00% build to about 97.00%. It is the only mechanic in the game
that measurably improves your long-run return — which makes it the one worth reading the rules for.

## What is confirmed and what is not

*Status of every feature claim on this page, as of 5 August 2026*

| Claim | Status | Source |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Nine feature names | Confirmed | Stakelogic Q3 2026 network roadmap |
| Super Stake doubles the stake | Confirmed | Stakelogic product material |
| Super Wheel: 54 segments, 93% RTP, 1 in 75 | Confirmed | Stakelogic Super Wheel network launch |
| Spin to Win adds ~1% RTP | Confirmed | Roadmap: "+1% STW" against each build |
| Split Symbols behaviour (2–4 copies) | From engine | Stakelogic ClusterBreaker mechanic |
| Trigger conditions, spin counts, multiplier caps | Not published | Publishes with the paytable on release |

**Why we mark this out:** most pages about this game
state trigger conditions and paytable values as fact today. Nothing of the sort has been published. We would
rather tell you where the line is than fill the gap with invention — and we update this page the day the
paytable goes live.

## The number that matters more than any feature

Three certified RTP builds ship with this game. Your casino picks one, and the gap is two percentage
points of everything you wager.
